M1 Jct41-42 Lofthouse Interchange (Leeds)

Client: Highways Agency

APA Concrete Repairs Ltd were involved in refurbishing the supporting structures as part of a central barrier replacement scheme on the M1 section.

The works involved mosaic tile removal, hydro-demolition, concrete repairs, phased bearing shelf replacement and the installation of an Impressed Current Cathodic Protection System.

Esholt Waste Water Treatment Works (Bradford)

Client: Yorkshire Water

APA were employed to undertake concrete repair works to two primary settlement tanks at Esholt WwTW. APA's works involved reprofiling the tops of the reinforced concrete tanks which had become worn and friable over time. APA removed all unacceptable concrete and prepared the substrate using wet abrasive blasting before applying a Remmers reprofiling mortar to provide a hard wearing finish.

APA were involved in the construction of the New Tyne Crossing, part of their involvement included water seepage control works, cathodic protection and concrete repairs to enable the main works to continue.

M275 Tipner Interchange (Portsmouth)

Client: Portsmouth City Council

As part of an Early Contractor Involvement Scheme (ECI) APA were selected as the Specialist Contractor to provide practical design assistance and the main works package during construction phase of the Tipner Interchange Bridges on the main route into and out of Portsmouth . The scheme involved the installation and commissioning of an Impressed Current Cathodic Protection System (ICCP).
